Parades & Tree Lightings – Delaware 2017

These Christmas parades and tree lighting ceremonies in the MOT area are sure to get you into the holiday spirit!

Middletown Christmas Parade

Middletown, DE. Saturday, 12/2; 10 am

Middletown’s annual Christmas parade kicks off Christmas on Main Street. The parade will begin at the Everett Meredith Middle School on South Broad Street, travel up Broad Street, and turn left onto Main Street. It will then turn left onto South Scott Street and head back to the middle school.

Home for the Holidays Marketplace & Parade

Downtown Dover: 101 W. Loockerman Street 1A, Dover, Delaware 19904. Saturday, 12/2; 3-9 pm

Holiday games & activities, entertainment, and food trucks make this holiday gift market fun for the whole family! The parade begins at 6:30 pm at Federal Street. Santa will be visiting with the kids in his house on Loockerman Way Plaza after the parade. Be sure to bring your camera!

Christmas in Clayton

212 Railroad Ave, Clayton DE. Sunday, 12/3; 2-6 pm.

Located in Clayton, Delaware, this Christmas festival includes Christmas vendors, a holiday parade, and a tree lighting ceremony.

Rehoboth Beach Hometown Christmas Parade

Rehoboth Beach, DE. Tuesday, 12/5; 6:30 pm

Presented by the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company, in cooperation with the City of Rehoboth Beach, Rehoboth Beach – Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce and Rehoboth Beach Main Street. This year’s parade promises to be the largest on to date and will be followed by Santa’s Christmas Party at the Rehoboth Fire Station!

Tree Lighting Celebration at Glasgow Park

Glasgow Park Bank Barn – Rts 40 & 896, Bear, DE. Friday, 12/8; 5-9 pm. Tree Lighting @ 7 pm.

Visit with Santa, make crafts, and enjoy the beauty of the holiday tree lighting. NEW Festive Holiday Market featuring gifts, food, decorations, and more!

Holiday Parade of Lights Christmas Parade

Delaware City, DE. Sunday, 12/10; 6 pm.

The Delaware City Christmas parade will form along Fifth Street between Canal and Bayard at 5:30 pm and will head north on Clinton starting at 6:00.
