Parents of children with sensory issues often find it difficult to plan family activities. Will the noise be too much? Will he sit still when he needs to? Will sensory overload lead to a meltdown? The anxiety caused by these questions often causes parents to stay home rather than risking the embarrassment that comes with a meltdown no one seems to understand.
These Sensory-friendly activities will allow you to plan family fun days without these worries- or at least lessen them by knowing you will be around others who have the same concerns.
